You must have Internet Explorer 9 or higher to use our site properly, and you must have Java enabled, as well. Our site works great on Chrome or Firefox, too. If you continue having problems, try installing the newest version of Java from Java.com.

This can happen because you didn't play the ticket fast enough (each ticket expires after a short time for security purposes) or because you have cookies disabled in your browser (your play session is stored as a cookie). Learn about cookies here.

Visit our homepage and click Play Now. Next, choose your numbers, enter your email address and click Play. You can play up to 30 tickets each week. Come back after numbers are drawn to see if you've won! You can also sign-up to get your BoxLotto results sent directly to your email account.

Numbers are drawn on Wednesday evenings and all BoxLotto tickets are processed shortly afterwards. We use NY State Lotto numbers to ensure fairness.

Actually, there is no password to play BoxLotto. Simply enter your email address when you are playing each ticket and you're all set! When you check back to see if you've won, you'll only need your email address.

What is BoxLotto?

BoxLotto is a free, online, lottery-style sweepstakes game with a drawing each week. BoxLotto is not a gambling website. Clicking advertisements or participating in partner offers does not increase your chances of winning.

Is it really free?

Yes! BoxLotto is 100% free to play and win! There is no purchase necessary to play and no gimmicks. Simply play your tickets and claim your prize if you've won.

How is it possible to operate a free sweepstakes business?

BoxLotto generates revenue from advertisers and affiliates which it uses to pay winners and expenses. Our Grand Prize is funded through contest insurance.

The following countries are eligible to play BoxLotto: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and The United States.

Other countries are NOT eligible to play. Including, but not limited to: India, Spain, Pakistan, Netherlands, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Kenya, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Russia, Germany, Thailand, Romania, Zimbabwe, Nepal, Brazil, Jamaica, Egypt, Italy, Hungary, Oman, Mauritius, France, Serbia, Sweden, Namibia, Ethiopia, Cambodia and any other country not listed above as eligible.

Why do we restrict certain countries? BoxLotto is FREE and is completely supported by advertisers. Advertisers only allow certain countries to view their ads, and we must restrict our game accordingly to maintain our relationships and keep BoxLotto operating.

Note: Winnings claimed by ineligible players will be voided and will not be paid out. Please refer to our rules page for more information. We may not notify you if you are deemed ineligible.

Yes, but you must use a different email address for each person, up to a limit of 3 persons per household.

Note: If one person if found to be playing with multiple email addresses, their tickets and prizes are subject to forfeiture.

BoxLotto has no control on a player winning or losing. The player (you) picks the numbers for each ticket and the winning numbers are those drawn by the NY State Lotto.

You are much more likely to win the BoxLotto jackpot than the Powerball jackpot.

Click the "Tickets & Results" button on the navigation bar above. Our main 6 winning numbers are pulled from the NY State Lotto, plus we randomly generate the bonus ball (using the PHP mt_rand() function). We are not affiliated with the NY State Lotto in any way, we simply use their numbers to ensure fairness in our game.

Numbers are drawn Wednesdays around 9PM PT and all tickets for the week should be processed shortly thereafter.

You get your bonus tickets instantly when you claim your prize (via quick-pick), but you don't win instantly. Once played, bonus tickets behave just like normal tickets and will go towards the next week's drawing; visit the "Tickets & Results" page, they are displayed under "This Week's" tickets.

Visit the "Tickets & Results" page and enter your email address for the corresponding week. You can check tickets for up to 1 month in the past.

First, make sure you are checking your tickets for the correct week. Our cut-off for each week is Tuesday at 12:59PM PST.

Otherwise, this is caused by an input error. Please check (and double-check) you used the same email to play and to review your tickets, and that they are not misspelled at all or contain spaces before or after the address.

Visit the "Tickets & Results" page and enter your email address for the corresponding week. From there, follow the on-page instructions.

Winners are paid monthly. You will be paid at the beginning of the next month after you claimed your prize (usually in the first week of the month). For example, if you made a claim in September, you will be paid around the first week of October. If you are from a country that is not allowed to play BoxLotto (India, Mexico, Pakistan, etc...), you will not receive a payout, and may not be informed. Please see our rules page for more information.

When winners are paid, we will make an announcement on our payment status page and on Twitter. Please follow us on Twitter.

We only send winnings through PayPal. We DO NOT send winnings any other way! You provide us with your PayPal email address when claiming your prize. If you don't have a PayPal account, you will receive instructions from PayPal on how to claim your money.
